THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF YTTS OUT THERE, SO WHY CHOOSE THIS ONE?

  • While many YTTs also welcome students who sign-up purely for self development - this one is different.

This training isn’t just about deepening your personal practice - it’s specifically designed for people who truly want to teach and are serious about stepping into the role of a teacher.

  • You’ll gain a strong foundation in guiding classes, but also the business know-how to build a sustainable career.

From developing your unique teaching style to exploring opportunities beyond the traditional studio setting, this training sets you up for success right from the start.

And the best part? The support doesn’t stop when you receive your certificate. You’ll get a whole year of ongoing mentorship, business support and career advice once you graduate.

This is a big deal and not something included in other YTTs!

  • This isn’t a one-size-fits-all training and I’m not here to mass-produce identical yoga teachers.

You’ll gain the essential knowledge, inspiration, and skills to teach, but you’ll also be encouraged to apply them in a way that feels authentic to you. My goal isn’t to mold you into a mini-me, but to give you the confidence and freedom to develop your own style and way of sharing.

  • We all have different backgrounds, experiences, and personalities. We’re all different shapes and sizes, with unique skeletons and movement habits. That’s celebrated and embraced in this YTT - from learning about individual anatomy, to letting your personality shine through when you teach.

  • You won’t wait until the final week to start teaching. From the very beginning, you’ll lead and refine your skills in a supportive environment, so you graduate feeling confident and prepared.

  • Instead of cookie-cutter solutions, you’ll embrace the idea that “it depends”.

You’ll learn how to assess and evaluate situations, adapt your teaching, and make informed decisions rather than just repeating what you’ve been taught.

It’s important to know stuff, but it’s much more important to know the why behind the what, when and how. This ensures that you’re not repeating or reciting information, but really applying and adapting it effectively.

  • Ancient wisdom meets real world application. You’ll learn how to weave philosophy into your classes (and life) naturally, making it meaningful and accessible, rather than something that feels scripted or forced.

  • My sequencing framework (developed through my many years of teaching) means that by the end of the course you’ll be able to plan a class in just 10 minutes.

You’ll learn much, much more than simple Hatha or Vinyasa styles. It’s a very customisable framework that you can truly personalise to suit your preferences and personality. This means you can plan something calm and gentle, or something dynamic and powerful.

NOT ALL YTTS ARE CREATED EQUALLY.

In this training we do things differently.

  • The solution: I break everything down into digestible chunks and make sure it all connects, so rather than drowning in information, you start to add layers to your understanding throughout the course.

My goal is for you to actually use what you learn, not just memorise information. If there’s too much to digest at once then the overwhelm stops you from taking action - which is the opposite of what we want.

  • The solution: This training isn’t just about getting certified - it’s about getting ready to teach. You'll graduate with a clear plan, plus ongoing support to help you kick-start your teaching career with confidence.

  • The solution: I make a point of showing you how everything fits together. Whether it's anatomy, philosophy, energy, or sequencing, you'll see how each piece supports the others, so your understanding (and your teaching) feels cohesive and complete.

  • The solution: From the very beginning, you'll be up and teaching - starting with small elements and gradually building to full classes. By the time you graduate, guiding a class will feel natural, not nerve-wracking.

  • The solution: I teach anatomy in a way that’s practical, engaging, and directly linked to how you move and teach. No memorising random muscle names - just useful, applicable knowledge that makes a difference to your personal practice, as well as improving your class planning and cueing skills.

  • The solution: There’s no “one right way” to teach or practice yoga. I’ll give you frameworks and tools so you can make informed decisions that really resonate with you, rather than blindly following outdated rules.

  • The solution: I don’t just teach yoga - I teach you how to turn it into a career. You'll get business guidance, mentorship, and real-world strategies so you can make teaching sustainable.

  • The solution: Yoga is for everybody and every body. This training is inclusive, down-to-earth, and built on the belief that you don’t have to be a certain size, shape, or personality type to be an amazing teacher.

If you worry you’re not flexible enough or have to master headstand to be a legitimate teacher - this YTT is for you. I focus on making yoga accessible, so you’ll learn how to teach real people - not just those who fit the Instagram stereotype.

THIS IS THE PERFECT TRAINING FOR YOU IF…

✔ You want to teach yoga - not just deepen your own practice.

✔ You want hands-on experience from day one.

✔ You know yoga is for everybody and every body, but you’re smart enough to know it’s not a one-size-fits-all approach.

✔ You’re curious, open-minded, and kind-hearted.

✔ You want to explore yoga beyond what happens on the mat.

✔ You appreciate a down-to-earth, engaging approach that makes complex topics relatable to real life, and fun to learn.

✔ You’re interested in a training that blends the wisdom of yoga’s spiritual roots with modern science and evidence-based learning.

✔ You want to be part of a supportive, small-group training with personal attention and mentorship.

✔ You love the idea of a training that balances deep learning with lighthearted teaching.

✔ You want more than just a certificate - you’re looking for ongoing support, mentorship, and practical business guidance to help you kick-start your teaching career with confidence.

BUT WE WONT BE A GOOD FIT IF…

✘ You’re looking for a yoga retreat. This is an intensive teacher training, not a holiday.

✘ You’re signing up purely for personal growth but have no real interest in teaching.

✘ You want a cookie-cutter approach - this training will challenge you to think, not just follow.

✘ You’re a fan of binary thinking and black-and-white answers. We embrace the “it depends” mindset and look at the nuances.

✘ You’re not ready to put in the effort. This training is engaging, rewarding, and fun, but it’s also intensive and requires commitment.

✘ You’re looking to master the pretzel-like poses. We’ll play around with peak postures, but this training is more about an accessible, inclusive and holistic approach to yoga that extends far beyond headstands and handstands.

I HAVE THREE MAIN GOALS WHEN TEACHING THIS TRAINING:

For you to fall in love with yoga all over again (and again, and again).

I want to help you create a more meaningful connection to the practice - both on and off your yoga mat.

To equip you with everything you need to become an authentic and badass yoga teacher.

This training is hands-on from the start, so you’ll leave with the confidence and excitement to start teaching as soon as you head home.

To have fun while doing it!

Yoga is really important, but that doesn’t mean it has to be so serious. I believe playfulness, laughter and curiosity are the best ways to learn.

THE GRADUATE MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME

Set yourself up for success.

Starting your teaching journey can feel overwhelming. That’s why, as one of my graduates, you get mentorship and business guidance included as part of the 200-hour teacher training.

Unlike many other programmes, I wont just hand you a certificate and send you off on your own. Instead, you’ll get a full year of ongoing group support, additional resources, and personalised coaching to ensure you’re fully equipped to succeed as a yoga teacher.

I cannot stress enough that this is not something offered in other trainings. Most business courses charge anywhere between $3000 to $8000 for this kind of support, and you’re getting it included. It’s a big deal.

  • After completing a YTT, many new teachers struggle to maintain a personal practice that isn’t tied to teaching. It’s all too easy to use your time on the mat for class planning, or to go to the studio and find yourself analysing every sequence, cue, and transition instead of simply being present.

This part of the mentorship is all about helping you reconnect with your own practice, both on and off the mat, and to keep it separate from teaching.

    • Staying inspired in your personal practice: Making sure your time on the mat is for you, not your students.

    • Living the philosophy: Integrate yoga off-the-mat in a way that feels natural.

    • Nervous system self-care: Soothe your soul and un-boggle your brain. Use breathing, mindfulness and meditation practices for rest and reflection.

    • Bite-sized reminders and revision topics: We cover a lot of information during the YTT, and it’s normal to forget things when you’re home. Each week you’ll receive an email with a short summary, focus point or task for the days ahead, so you can revisit key topics and takeaways in a more manageable way and really wrap your head around them.

  • By the end of the training you’ll have all the knowledge you need to teach an amazing yoga class, but of course, practice makes perfect. That’s why it’s important to get on-going guidance and support to shape your skills.

Here’s how I can help with that:

    • Feedback on your sequences, themes and class plans: Get personalised feedback so you can keep tweaking things until you’re completely satisfied and can sequence an incredible class in under 10 minutes.

    • A monthly theme and class plan: Each month, I’ll provide a ready-to-go class plan that you can use as inspiration.

    • Finding your groove: Authenticity is key - take off the mask and teach from your heart.

    • Monthly Q+A calls: Each month you’ll get a live group call with me, where we can catch up and chat all things yoga. You can ask questions and chat about any challenges or breakthroughs.

    • Overcoming imposter syndrome: Tackle doubts and fears that may arise and foster a mindset that supports your growth.

  • Being a great teacher is only half of the battle. With the yoga industry becoming more competitive, it’s essential to stand out, establish a signature offer, and speak directly to your dream students.

Before becoming a yoga teacher I spent many years working in marketing and event planning (it’s actually my what degree is in), so I’m here to help ease the overwhelm and accompany you as you turn your passion into something profitable.

Together we’ll explore topics such as:

    • Exploring your options: Think outside the studio. There’s more to offer than weekly drop-in classes. We’ll explore online options, workshops, retreats, collaborations, and much more, so you can craft something that suits your strengths.

    • Finding a niche: Stop trying to blend in - aim to stand out. It’s the first step towards success.

    • Build your yoga vision: Craft an action plan to bring your ideas to life.

    • Pricing strategies and value perception: Learn how to price your projects and communicate their value.

    • Connecting with your ideal students: Build a loyal community.

    • Showing up authentically on social media: without worrying about vanity metrics.

    • Creating a website: Your own online space.

    • Business tools: My personal platform recommendations.

    • How to market your offer: Getting the message out there.

    • Building a sustainable and scalable business: One that grows with you and works for you.

    • Avoiding burn-out: How to manage your momentum and motivation.

    • Private calls: 10 hours worth of private 1:1 calls with me so we can discuss topics in more detail and I can support you on a more personal level.

    • Private WhatsApp group: Each cohort gets a private chat to keep in touch, create a sense of community, ask questions, and hold each other accountable. I’m in the group too, of course, so you’ll have direct access to me for any quick questions or queries.

    • Additional resources: A DropBox folder of extra resources such as e-books, articles, videos etc that you can use to continue learning.

  • That’s a good question.

    • Before becoming a Yoga Teacher I spent many years as a Marketing Manager and Event Planner - so I know what I’m talking about.

    • I even have a degree in advertising and marketing communications.

    • I have first hand experience and I’ll share personal advice - nothing generic or irrelevant.

Even though I’ve had the job title “Yoga Teacher” - I’ve had many roles during that time.

    • I’ve been a travelling Yoga Teacher teaching in different countries around the world.

    • I’ve been employed full time by a popular yoga studio.

    • I’ve owned my own successful yoga studio.

    • I’ve run yoga events such as brunch clubs, workshops and one-day retreats.

    • I’ve hosted many sold-out 3 -7 day retreats.

    • I’ve taught yoga online - both live and pre-recorded classes.

    • I’ve taught private classes, corporate classes and group classes.

    • I’ve run many successful courses and trainings.

I’ve made mistakes along the way, sure - but that only makes me better equipped to help you find your feet and build the best foundation to start from.

THE TEACHING TEAM - MEET YOUR MENTORS

The wonderful people you’ll be learning from.

I’m Jess - I’ll be your lead teacher throughout the YTT and I’m excited to support you on your journey from student to teacher. Teaching yoga brings me joy, and I love nothing more than sharing the practice with anyone eager to explore it in more depth.

My approach is all about helping you find your own unique teaching style, as well as what resonates for you on a personal level.

While we’ll dive into all the essentials, I wont just give you the what, when, who and how - we dig into the why behind everything. This means that instead of offering one-size-fits-all answers or reinforcing binary beliefs, we’ll have fun exploring the nuances. Because the truth is - it’s never as simple as black and white, right or wrong, or good and bad.

As your lead teacher, I’ll be delivering the majority of the classes and content, but I’m not alone. I’ll be joined by the amazing Laura, my brilliant support teacher, as well as some fantastic guest teachers who will offer their expertise in different areas.

You can read more about the guest teacher individual sessions by clicking the button below.

WHAT STYLE OF YOGA WILL YOU LEARN?

I’m not a fan of labels.

This is a non-dogmatic training - while I’ll provide you with all the essential knowledge, inspiration and teaching skills, I’ll also encourage you to adapt and apply them in a way that feels authentic to you.

You’ll be equipped with the foundations to teach both Hatha and Vinyasa classes, along with a variety of themed practices. This means you can create something strong and powerful, or gentle and calming.

Rather than focusing on just one style, I’ll share my unique framework for sequencing classes. It’s a completely customisable approach that gives you full flexibility to teach both flow and non-flow classes, as well as tailoring the theme to suit your personal style and preferences.

Beyond asanas, you’ll also learn how to guide meditation and pranayama, so you can bring mindfulness and breathwork into your classes. We’ll also cover restorative poses, so you can offer rest and relaxation to your students.

A key aspect of this training involves learning how to tailor your classes to suit students of all shapes, sizes and abilities, and how to structure your sequences so they’re accessible and inclusive to everyone.

THE DAILY RHYTHM

A sample schedule.

This gives you a general idea of how the course is structured, but each day will be different depending on the content we’re covering.

You’ll have two full days off during the training to relax and explore the surroundings.

  • Over the 22-days you’ll experience an evolution of silence, with each new day focusing on a new aspect or approach to the practice.

Very quickly you’ll realise that silence goes far beyond simply not speaking.

From when you wake up until breakfast begins you’ll have the opportunity to truly slow down and tune in.

It’s a chance to be present, pay attention on purpose, and savour silence in all shapes and forms.

Throughout the training you’ll also get a taste of silent meals too.

  • Each morning begins with an extended asana practice, carefully designed to complement what you'll be learning later that day, or provide an opportunity to integrate and apply concepts from the day before.

No two practices are the same - you’ll experience a variety of styles and themes that showcase just how versatile my sequencing framework is. Each one is unique.

Throughout the training, you’ll be encouraged to approach the physical practice with curiosity, exploring movement from a fresh perspective and giving you a new appreciation of asana.

And of course, meditation and pranayama will always be part of the mix.

  • A buffet-style breakfast with a mix of hot and cold, and sweet and savoury options.

If you know it’s better for your body to eat earlier, fruit, tea, and coffee will always be available for when you wake up.

  • Mornings are for diving deeper. These sessions blend lectures and discussions to explore topics like philosophy in a way that’s engaging, thought-provoking, and genuinely relevant - to your life, your relationships and your own journey of self discovery.

You’ll get a short break part way through the morning session.

  • Lunch is the biggest meal because moving, listening, and learning is hungry work!

Expect plenty of variety, flavor, and wholesome dishes that leave you feeling energised, not sluggish, so you can fuel your body (and brain) for the rest of the day.

  • The afternoons are all about bringing knowledge to life. Some days we’ll break down asanas, alignment, and anatomy; other days we’ll explore the nervous system, breathwork, or meditation in a way that’s practical and applicable. It’s not always movement-based, but it’s always relevant - deepening your personal practice and developing your teaching skills.

Whether we’re playing with postures, refining cues, or understanding how the body-brain-breath connection, these sessions help you turn information into insight.

You’ll get a short break part way through the afternoon session.

  • After an info-packed afternoon, this short break gives you time to relax and refuel. There’s always a snack on hand, and you’re free to chat, rest, or step outside for some fresh mountain air and to stretch your legs.

  • Evening sessions are usually dedicated to practice - planning sequences, refining your teaching skills, and getting comfortable guiding others. You’ll get plenty of hands-on experience so you gain confidence from the get-go.

You’ll get a short break part way through the afternoon session.

  • Dinner is a lighter meal - think comforting soups or hearty dahls to wind down the evening.

After, you’re free to relax, read, or chat, with a gentle request to keep things calm and cosy from 9pm.

I also encourage a digital detox from 10pm to 10am (aside from setting your alarm), giving your mind and body a well-deserved break.

YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Accommodation and room options.

I’m excited that I’ve found the perfect place to provide us with plenty of peace, nature and comfort so you have a home-away-from-home during the course.

We’ll be staying in a fantastic group chalet in Chamonix, just 20 minutes walk from the centre of town and surrounded by mountains on every side.

There is an open-plan dining area where we’ll relax and eat together, as well as a stunning space for us to practice and study yoga. The views are amazing from every angle.

  • Main chalet: Twin (2 x single beds) or triple (3 x single beds) rooms with shared bathrooms.

Apartment above the main chalet: This accommodates three people and has a bathroom, kitchen and living space. There is 1 x double bed and 2 x single beds on the open mezzanine level. This is a shared flat for three people, not a private studio.

  • There are no private rooms available at the venue, but you’re welcome to arrange your own accommodation nearby.

I highly recommend that you still enjoy your meals with the group though.

Please reach out to me to discuss the options and prices for this.

A QUICK RECAP

A reminder of the things that make this yoga teacher training extra special.

  • This training is certified based on the elevated standards that Yoga Alliance recently released.

This means the curriculum covers all of the core competencies and exceeds the previous standard requirements for a 200 hour course.

The certificate you receive is recognised internationally and allows you to teach around the world.

  • With this YTT you get the best of both worlds.

A 22-day in-person immersion, plus on-going online support so you can continue to integrate the information once you’re home.

This is not just a course you attend; it’s an experience you live.

Over the 22 days you’ll be fully immersed in the practice and philosophy of yoga meaning you can go beyond theory and truly embody the practice.

Living and breathing yoga day in and day out allows you to absorb the material on a deeper level, while also creating lasting connections with your fellow trainees.

You’ll leave with a lot of new knowledge, but also give yourself an opportunity to live the practice and experience a meaningful shift in your personal practice.

This fully integrated approach ensures you absorb every aspect of the training, from the physical to the philosophical, while creating a lasting shift in your own practice and mindset.

  • A whole year of additional advice and on-going personal mentorship on the business and marketing side of yoga if you wish to pursue it as a career. This isn’t something offered in other YTTs.

  • The Alps provide the perfect backdrop for this training.

Whether you're in the middle of class or taking a break, the mountains have a way of reminding you to breathe, pause, and appreciate the moment.

It's the kind of view that helps you feel grounded no matter what’s going on.

  • Food and accommodation is taken care of so you can fully focus on the yoga.

The food is delicious, just FYI.

The accommodation is simple but cosy with shared rooms and bathrooms.

  • Be part of a close-knit community so you can enjoy personal support from me, as well as forming new friendships with your fellow students.

With a smaller group, there’s more space for individual feedback, questions, and connection with each other.

It means you won’t just be another name on a list or face in the room. You’ll have space to shine, get the support you deserve, and really make the most out of the YTT experience.

  • This training is a women-centered space, open to all individuals who identify as female, including trans women and non-binary people who feel comfortable in a female-only environment.

It’s a space where women can show up as they are, knowing they’ll be heard, respected, and supported by others who share similar experiences.

There’s a special energy that comes from women supporting women and cheering each other on.

  • A fun, friendly and knowledgeable lead teacher with 1200+ hours of training and 3500+ hours of teaching experience.

  • Amazing guest teachers to enhance the training with their specific skills and areas of expertise.

  • A comprehensive printed manual / textbook with information on everything we cover during the course.

PREREQUISITES

Important need-to-knows before signing up.

This training may be taken to deepen your own knowledge of yoga, with or without the intention to teach afterwards. That being said, please note that while YTTs welcome enthusiastic students, this one is specifically designed for people interested in teaching yoga. It’s one of the reasons this training stands out amongst the many others out there.

If you’re looking to develop your personal practice without the desire to teach, you may enjoy my one-week yoga student training.

Regardless of your reasons for signing up, please understand that a yoga teacher training is intensive, with long days and lots of information to digest. Due to the demanding nature of the course, you’ll need to be fully committed, eager to learn and ready to immerse yourself from start to finish. It’s important that you embark on this adventure feeling fit and healthy both physically and mentally.

This course is open to students of all ages, shapes, sizes and abilities. All races and religions are welcome, but it’s only possible to join if you identify as female or non-binary. You’ll need an open mind, a kind heart and a good sense of humour.
